Eyewear with no Frontier

France & Germany

As part of our Franco-German partnership in the optical sector and our CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach, Baudouin DUPONT (Dailytec) + Brillen ohne Grenzen (Eyewear with no Frontier – Germany) / Michael & Michaela ROOS) + Lunettes sans Frontière – France (Eyewear with no Frontier – France) / Jean-François BONNARD collect and send second-hand optical and sunglasses, cleaned, sorted and measured, as well as second-hand optical equipment to more than 60 countries around the world.

Baudouin DUPONT is specifically responsible for these initiatives in India, the DRC Congo, Guinea-Conakry, working with humanitarian associations, hospitals and schools.

As Baudouin DUPONT has been working internationally in the optical sector since 1992, his mission is also to develop the activities of Lunettes sans Frontière (Eyewear with no Frontier) – France and Germany around the world, so that more and more people in need can benefit from corrective eyewear.

Inauguration of the new Health Centre (Diabète et Lunettes sans Frontières) in Matadi, DRC – 26 July 2025

In 2024 and 2025, BERNADETTE (founder of SEPELAAAAS) from Lille, France, in collaboration with her partner BAUDOUIN DUPONT in Saarland at www.BRILLEN-ohne-GRENZEN.de, was able to provide approximately 30,000 new eyeglass frames, used eyeglasses with PLUS corrective lenses (reading glasses), MINUS corrective lenses (prescription glasses) and non-prescription sunglasses to protect against harmful UV rays, in order to effectively help many visually impaired people in her health centre in southern Congo, enabling them to access EDUCATION and participate more fully in their private, school and professional lives.
