A microfiber is a blend of polyester (70%) and polyamide (30%). It is a high-quality,
innovative, chemical-free, hypoallergenic textile made exclusively from synthetic
materials.
As its name suggests, the filaments that make up a microfiber are ultra-fine (75 to 120
denier). Each filament weighs less than 1 gram over a length of 10 km and has a
diameter of around 1 micron (100 times finer than a human hair).
Numerous processes can be used to produce these fibers, all of which involve splitting
the basic fibre into a very large number of tiny microfibers.
The splitting is done in such a way as to create microscopic “hooks” that act like claws
that scrape and retain dust, dirt and grime. The bursting is done in such a way as to
create microscopic “hooks” that act like claws that scrape and retain dust, dirt and
grime.
The intimate blend of the two components, 70% polyester and 30% polyamide, gives
our microfibers a dual cleaning action. The polyester absorbs grease and the
polyamide absorbs water. These two scrubbing fibres remove impurities immediately,
wet or dry, simply by rubbing against surfaces, and store them as they go, acting as a
reservoir.
All our microfibers are more or less brushed after weaving and dyeing, giving them an
exceptionally soft feel.
Always knitted, our microfibers offer remarkable flexibility, enabling them to clean the
most difficult-to-reach surfaces (sophisticated optical frames, optical laboratory
equipment).
Microfibers have a natural detergent effect and absorb grease by simply rubbing
against the surfaces to be cleaned.
Microfibers are antistatic. Simply rubbing them against dry surfaces generates static
electricity, which attracts dust, which is immediately absorbed into the microfiber.
Very light, very compact and very easy to use, our microfibers can be used dry or
slightly damp to clean delicate surfaces anywhere without scratching or damaging
them.
Microfibers do not warp when used, neither when dry nor when washed. They
automatically regain their original properties after each use.
Although microfibers are almost indestructible, the average user loses a microfiber
once a year and the market automatically renews itself. If the marketing is well
designed by distributors with creative images (communication agencies, high-tec
chain stores, optical groups and others), the need for microfibers will constantly
attract customers.
Optical microfibers can be cleaned simply by washing at 40° C / 60° maximum, by
hand or in a machine, with or without the addition of a mild soap. They can be washed
almost indefinitely, without the addition of chlorine (bleach) or fabric softener.
Because of their composition, they dry very quickly. Single-use, non-biodegradable
and non-recyclable wipes are no longer necessary.
Microfibers can be used to clean even the greasiest surfaces without the addition of
detergents. They help maintain a clean environment without generating waste or
pollution.
All our microfibers are ISO 9001 and Reach-Oekotex certified, and recycled PET
microfibers are GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified.
Slightly damp, microfibers eliminate 99% of bacteria simply by rubbing against
surfaces. Although they are not antibacterial, microfibers almost totally eliminate
micro-organisms present on surfaces. Very often used in cosmetics to remove eye
make-up because of their softness and effectiveness, optical microfibers promote
daily hygiene for female wearers.
For just a few cents, consumers can access microfiber textiles for personal or
professional use. As microfibers can be washed and used several times, the cleaning
and communication budget is greatly reduced. Disposable, non-biodegradable and
non-recyclable wipes are no longer necessary.
Our extensive collection of microfibers, ranging from 170 to 300 grams per square
meter, allows our customers to choose their microfibers to suit their budget.
A special heat treatment after dyeing stabilises the microfiber textile and reduces its
elasticity so that the original resolution of the logos and designs is maintained.
Delivered in 350 dpi PDF format, the logo and image files are processed in high
resolution by our ultra-modern printing machines.
The microfiber cloth is printed in high definition (logos or images), either on one or
both sides, giving clear, permanent and effective visibility of the message to be
conveyed to users.
Customers become the driving force behind their own communications. They create
their own texts and select their own images, not only for their usual communications
but also for their own events (promotions, store anniversaries, various types of
advertising, etc.). Microfibers can be customised (personalised) in any size, colour or
image.
For any new project, we can assist the customers in the creation of their image by
making an artwork before developing their final design.
Our bank of images is available to our customers to help them develop their custom
designs. These images are free for unlimited use.
Basic ranges are in stock for almost immediate delivery. Customized microfibers are
delivered within 4 weeks.
All prototypes are customised within just a few days, with no commitment. No
financial investment is required from our customers.
Our factory and all our microfibers are certified to ISO 9001 and Reach-Oekotex quality
management system standards, which guarantees consistently high-quality
deliveries. Our rPET (recycled PET) microfibers are GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
certified.
All our microfibers are certified non-toxic.
